The meeting was called to order at 5:30pm by Chair with a moment of silence and Serenity prayer. Mitchell then read the statement of purpose.
CHAIR REPORTS
Secretary: Minutes from October 2nd mtg were accepted.
Treasurer: John reported current balance of $3706. Day of Recovery brought in $604.50. Site rental was $400. Still waiting for other costs to be turned in. We still owe ISO our 2nd and 3rd quarter donation.
Literature: SCA “Hope & Recovery” books have arrived. Ted said other stock seems OK. After discussion about new SAA approved book, we decided to let groups express their interest first, before Intergroup moves into action.
Social: Fifteen people attended Oct. Social. Mike spoke of possible Sunday brunch and movie for November. Bob E. will host holiday gathering on Dec. 10th at his place.
Outreach: 4400 hits so far on website. Jeff updated group on Ad to be placed in Gay Chgo (6 week frequency discount). Dec. newsletter will include story from Joe; other items – possibly on January workshop or service opportunities.

OLD BUSINESS
Workshops: January workshop theme “Ways to Avoid a Slip”.
2005 Day of Recovery Evaluations: Mitchell handled out copies of comments received. Notify other “S” groups earlier. Consult these at beginning of next year’s planning process. Reserve space at Unity church for next October early. Create MANUAL of “to do’s” for Day of Recovery. THANK YOU TO KEN and JARVIS and ALL who HELPED WITH DAY. Topic will be continued.
2006 ISO MTG in Chicago – Joe S. and John S.
John distributed five page handout with timetable and preliminary budget. Reviewed status of various committees. (Unfortunately Ill. Masonic site NOT available). Intergroup discussed whether we have needed funds available or if need to do fundraiser. Clarified responsibilities for Saturday lunch: we coordinate; ISO pays costs.
NEW BUSINESS
Withdrew idea of Dec. potluck (too much going on).
Mike raised issue of creating Officer Position for Programming. It would include Day of Recovery and Workshops. Idea to be discussed next time.
